Sinn Model 902 Limited Edition Watch
I think Audi is the brand to mostly thank for this new Sinn timepiece. Back in 2004 (ish) they worked with Sinn to create a couple of limited edition watches branded "Audi Design." Those watches (at least some of them) you can see below, and seem to be where this squareish, cushion case style came from. Now at the end of 2010, Sinn revisits this case aesthetic with the Model 902. A very interesting retro-futuristic watch with the heart of an aviator, and a designer body.At first I was a bit odded out by the case and dial style. It didn't remind me of the ruthless instrumental looks of Sinn watches that thematically resemble the cold gaze of a Doberman Pincher while on patrol. Rather, the Model 902 is what Hans straps on his wrist after pulling on a black turtleneck and affixing his perfectly round lensed glasses before reading over Teutonic existentialism. The era of idealist futurism from 1971 is where the design of this watch seems to have come from. Like the guy selling timeshares f

Omega PO chrono vs Tag Grand Carrera 17RS
I am seriously thinking about buying an Omega PO chronograph, the version with the black dial, orange numbers and rubber black strap (reference 2910.51.82). The alternative option is the Tag Heuer Grand Carrera 17RS with black dial (you can see both watches side by side on the attached photo).I was thinking maybe you could help me choose between them. Appearance-wise, it seems to me that the omega is more classic and more sporty, while the tag is more original (different than most watches you would see) and more classy. The Tag has a transparent case-back which is a nice touch, though not really important. The omega is slightly bigger. The omega is more water-proof (600m vs 100m) but then again I am not a diver so it does not make any difference for me. On the other hand I like to keep my watch on all the time, even when I take a bath or when I go for swimming, so if I go with the tag, I would probably have to buy a replica leather strap (as I understand the original one is rather expen
Should I sell my Panerai?
Greetings everyone!!A few months ago my dad gave me first expensive watch (Who got it as a gift a few years ago). Panerai PAM 114. I've never owned an expensive watch before (except for an Omega Seamaster, which I sold). I liked Audemars Piguet but their prices are insane for me. In the short term, I hope to buy a Rolex Datejust. Now back to the Panerai. I did some research and found that it is a good watch. It's really nice looking, but I don't feel that it fits me as a guy in my early 20s.Now what I was thinking is selling it and buying a Datejust or putting some more money for an Audemars Piguet. But as I have no experience with Panerai I hoped to get some insight from Panerai fans. How much should I sell it for? I have no box or papers, but I'm sure it's %100 authentic.Where is the best place to sell it? I know eBay could be good. They'd take a %13 and there is this buyer protection, which from my understanding is very harmful for a seller without a established reputation. I heard of
Need your input on this 114270 Explorer
Hi folks,I'm contemplating purchasing this 114270 Z Series Explorer and was hoping to get your opinion on a couple things.1. Based on the attached pictures, does everything check out? These are the best pictures I've been able to get from the seller thus far. To my eyes, the watch looks original, in honest condition, and not over polished.2. This seller does not have forum references, and has provided me with a few email addresses as references. These references have come out positive, but I'm still a bit wary and am hesitant to wire the funds. Would it be safe to use Paypal (goods & services) here? Anyone have experience recalling funds using this Paypal option if the deal goes south? Thanks so much for your input!
