Arnold & Son TB88 "Inside Out" Watch
Now, here is an interesting new watch that I wasn't expecting from UK based Arnold & Son. The concept is that the movement is "inside out," well sort of. Basically what you see on the dial is typically what you would see on the rear of the watch. Arnold & Son isn't the first to offer a watch that applies this concept, but their new TB88 does that and has a few more tricks up its (exposed) sleeve."TB88" sounds like some super mutated version of tuberculosis. I don't want to contract TB88! There should have been a better name. TB actually stands for "True Beat," which is Arnold and Son's way of saying dead-beat seconds. This complication has been given a lot of names over the years. It refers to a seconds hand that ticks, but is part of a mechanical, not a quartz watch. Ticking seconds hands have been around for a long time, but since quartz watches came around people began to associate them with cheap timepieces. So any mechanical watch that wanted to use a ticking seconds hand
15300 blue dial
Hi guys, I wanted to know from owners or experts something, I am interested in a 15300 blue dial from 2009.On the many pics the shop sent me, the dial has a kind of blue purplish color, does it really have a kind of purple color or is it just the lighting which gives that effect? Are there any issues about that particular year? Thanks in advance for your replies

Sell everything....
I love my watches (including my 5070G, 5205R, 1680 Red, Daytona 116520, etc.) but have this crazy idea that has been haunting me since November: Sell everything (or almost everything keeping perhaps a steel Rolex) and acquire a 5970P or 5970G perhaps? What would give you more enjoyment?1. Rolex purchase issue - Need advice on what to do now
Yesterday I posted an incoming thread for a SS Daytona that I was very excited to receive, but today I need advice from the forum. When I purchased the Daytona it was described as a 2007 Daytona and in March 2018 had an extensive refurb/service at RSC in the UK. Bezel, dial, hands, glass and crown were replaced. Watch came with box, original document with perforated serial number and 2 year Rolex warranty. The document states the watch was sold in 2007 (hand written) however, the serial number has the letter P at the beginning which means it was produced in 2000.So what I thought was an 11 year old watch, may actually be 18 years old according to a friend who knows these things.I find it hard to believe that it was lying around unsold for 7 years!!!I can return the watch within 14 days of purchase. What should I do?Thanks in advance.
