I love my Omega. it has a definite 60's vibe which sits well with me, thank you very much. It reeks of three?martini lunches and steno pools.I laid it next to the Bethnic Ti."Christ", I thought. The watch arrived with a Benthic catalog Signed by John Patterson, CEO of Bathys, instructions and comes in a Pelican case. Not an inexpensive option. Pelican makes O-ring sealed, virtually indestructible cases to house and transport, munitions, optics - essentially anything that needs protecting. here it goes..Input needed from fellow forumers. I'm thinking of getting back into the AP fold, through the 15400ST( still can't decide which coloured dial). But in order to do that, I would need to let go of a couple of watches from the current collection.As it stands, I have 2 PAM, 372 and 292, and a rolex GMTIIC in my small collection.I was thinking of letting go of the 292, and the GMTIIC for a direct trade, or a little top up from myself.what would you do? quantity over quality or vice versa?thanks

Change, improvement or just a different look 2016 Explorer
So I owned an Explorer 39mm in 2016 when the 2016 revision was released at Basel that year. I liked it when it came out but at the time liked the one I had and didn't think there was enough difference between the two to do anything costly and drastic about it.Fast forward two years. After seeing the 2016 version at AD's the last couple of years I really do think the changes to the hands and 3,6,9 took it back to its roots so to speak and are solid improvements. I decided this week to let my current one go in favor of one so I have a slightly used 2017 model on the way. I just couldn't see having a version of a watch I liked when I could have one that truly sang to me.I'm just curious of forum members who had the 2010 Explorer 39mm and liked it but decided to part with it for the 2016 version because it just came together so well and you saw it as an improvement not simply a change or different look.

Discovering Laser Etched Crown
After having a Sub for a month, I just realized there was a Laser Etched Crown in the crystal. Looked at these watches for years and had no idea! Very little discussion on this counterfeit measure as well.
