Nomos Introduces DUW 3001 Automatic, Minimatic and more
Nomos is always an exciting brand to visit at BaselWorld. Last year, they wowed with the introduction of the swing system, their proprietary escapement that marked a huge step for the brand (as it would any brand, really) and their Metro. This year, Nomos came ready with the natural progression of that development, boasting several new models and a totally new automatic movement.First up are the Metro 38 Datum and the Metro 38 Datum black. The Metro 38 Datum is a companion piece to the previously released Datum, which is undoubtedly one of Nomos' quirkiest timepieces. At 38mm, it's 1.5mm larger than the Datum, but it still feels perfectly balancedperhaps even more so due to the more restrained dial. Eschewing the power reserve indicator, the Metro 38 Datum instead focuses on bringing symmetry to the design. Breitling Diver pro strap 24/20
Does anyone know if Breitling make a black diver II rubber strap in 24/20 with or for a tang?
Why do I find myself always looking at this watch?
Been looking at a PO 8500 off and on for awhile now, but have never actually pulled the trigger. I just keep going to Omega ADs to tease myself. I currently own a 16610LV, so maybe in my mind I cannot justify more than one diver style watch. Maybe I just have a thing for the look of a diver style watch, as I also cannot keep my eyes off the Tudor Black Bay (Blue) that was just released at Basel this year. There's no hope for me!
Anyone have a black dialed stainless speedy with a gold bezel?
If so, you like it? Can you post photos??
Patek reliability.....
Gentlemen, below is the thread I started over on the AP forum.... I look forward to hearing your views. Thanks.I am looking at getting my collection of Rolex down from 6 to 2 or 3, and then entering the rarified world of AP and PP. I'm liking the 15400 and the ROC, and also the PP 5167 and 5164.It may be my imagination, but I seem to read an awful lot about AP having serious problems of reliability. We don't appear to see the same thing over on the PP forum.Any comments from you knowledgable Gentlemen?
