Hands-On: The Jaquet Droz Grande Seconde Tourbillon Ivory Enamel (And What Is And Isn't A Tourbi
Since tourbillons have become much more common since the end of the 20th century – largely due to modern manufacturing and assembly techniques that make it easier to achieve the precision necessary for them to work properly – now more than ever, it's not so much a question of whether you can do it, but how well it's done. With that in mind, let's take a look at an unusual, and unusually designed, example of the tourbillon as a piece of wearable, high-craft, design: an objet d'art for the wrist from Jaquet Droz. 1 OF 9 As always, with tourbillons it's good to have some context for what you're looking at. Looking for input for ladies watch
Thinking of picking up my wife a Constellation or De Ville.Has any gentlemen here gifted one to their significant other?Any ladies own one?Looking at either the 24mm or 27mm with quartz movement.Which one would be a better daily wearer? Thanks.
Incoming............bet you didn't expect this from me!
I am making my way outside Rolex for something new so I decided to pick something up I have always admired from a distance. Debated on 42MM or 45MM, orange numbers or white numbers. NEVER entertained the orange bezel however. That's outside my comfort zone. Can't beat the price purchasing second hand especially considering how much I have spent on Rolex. So without further ado, say hello to my little 45MM friend......................
