WatchTime New York: America’s Luxury Watch Show Draws More Than 700 Guests
WatchTime hosted its largest and most luxurious consumer event to date, WatchTime New York, on October 23rd and 24th at Manhattan's Gotham Hall, drawing an enthusiastic crowd of more than 700 guests over the course of the two-day event.Twenty luxury watch brands, from internationally renowned manufacturers to up-and-coming independents, displayed their newest timepieces at the show, some of which were being seen by the American public for the first time. Guests had the opportunity to try on watches as well as mingle with watch company executives, industry experts, and fellow watch aficionados. I'd bought her watch maybe less than a year ago, mine arrived sometime last month. Great to have a partner who shares my love for watches!Her watch is a quartz, both me and the AD went blue in the face extolling the virtues of mechanical timekeeping; cut no ice whatsoever.Being older and maybe a little wiser, I staged a strategic retreat, the AD battled on; poor fellow still bears some scars from that debate!
New Speedmaster 9300 or 3573.50.00 Sapphire Sandwich
Hi AllI'm looking for some help to decide on my next watch. My thinking has some down to either a new Moonwatch Co-Axial 311.33.44.51.01.001 with the 9300 movement or the more traditional 'Sapphire Sandwich' Moonwatch 3573.50.00.I love the new movement and am keen to own an Omega with it. However, I do find watches with it rather thick to wear although, of the whole range, the Speedmaster deals with the thickness best IMHO. The new speedmaster is an expensive watch in respect to the manual wind 'Sapphire Sandwich'.What would you do???J

PAM 312 Deployment Strap and Buckle
I have a PAM 312 with the standard black strap/white stitching and buckle.I would like to replace it with a black deployment strap and deployment buckle that is also a little longer the OEM I have.What do I need to know when purchasing and where can I purchase a quality reasonably priced OEM like real leather strap/buckle combo ?Thanks for your help.
