question for newbie
Hi guys quick question. I am new to the world of Omega s. I found a watch for my wife and it has the 3320 reduced movement. Here's my question is the movement reliable and thoughts about it. The watch is lady's speed master ref Omega 3834.70.36. Thank you in advance for feedback
Excited to join the Patek Philippe club!
I would like to introduce myself to the Patek Philippe forum. I had an extra special Mardi Gras this year, with the arrival of my Nautilus 5713. I know that some are not fans of diamonds on a man's watch but to me, it gave the classic Genta design a wow factor that is even better than I expected, now that I have it on my wrist! I believe this reference was introduced around 2008-2009 and has since been discontinued (does anyone know when?). I am also interested in knowing roughly how many of these were produced? I look forward to learning from you all and to contributing to the forum for years to come!
What happens with most your other watches when you go Patek?
Just curious what you guys do.Doesn't necessarily have to be Patek, but basically a luxury high end watch that you work hard to purchase. When I purchased my First Rolex, no other watch got any wrist time.I just couldn't justify keeping the Rolex at home as she could be used as a beater, a dressy, a sporty watch.PP is a whole other league.I know it won't make my Rolex redundant, as she is still the perfect beater, but I am curious. How can your earlier watch purchases get any wrist time when you pull the trigger on high end watches like the Patek?Do you downsize to a smaller collection with more quality?Or keep them as still wear them at times?
AD Inventories
Since I went on my search over the last couple of weeks almost every AD I spoke with had received watch shipments recently. I wonder where we will be in 5-6 months? Back where we were in December or will the watch cases be full. When I bought my SkyDweller yesterday the sales person told me they have a 2 year wait list on the Ceramic Daytona's.What do y'all think?
