Baselworld 2013: The Watch Content You Demand
For watches-dealer coverage of Baselworld 2013 watches and other new products, we are going to follow in our own footsteps based on what seemed like effective?coverage of SIHH 2013. What does that mean? Well, starting this year, we thought it would be interesting to focus first on covering those products and brands that watches-dealer audience members said they wanted to read about. That way, the community is able to request what they see first from the show.Once again, we will focus on covering the show on the watches-dealer website, as well as the watches-dealer YouTube channel, watches-dealer Instagram feed, Twitter, and most importantly on the watches-dealer Facebook page. My dealer got me this AP clock as a Christmas gift, it was incredibly generous of them but it proves that loyalty pays!The clock itself is manual wind not battery powered and has an 8 day power reserve. Coincidentally I was about to buy a nice clock however my budget would not have extended to this.

Going through airport customs - Germany
Hey all,I feel like it has been forever since I posted. I have a quick question about traveling internationally with my Omega Seamaster. In a month, I will be leaving for Europe and will be traveling through different countries. Did any of you have any trouble with airport customs when it came to going through the customs at the airport with your watch on. I've heard that 1. if they find a high end watch such as Omega, that they will check the watch for authenticity and either assess a custom duty fee or confiscate it if they believe it is counterfeit. Now, I'm not worried about the counterfeit piece, as I can back up the fact that it is authentic, but I am a bit concerned about customs duty fees. When I go through customs I will be wearing the watch. What are your guys' experiences with customs. The first part of my journey will be in Munich, Germany. Thanks!

Hello,Never owned a vintage watch before as I've always bought new. Fancied adding one to my collection but wasn't really looking to spend too much. Been looking at various forums, Ebay etc and there is obviously an abundance of Omega's on offer. I have taken quite some time to become familiar with condition/age reflective in cost and saw something that caught my eye over the weekend on Ebay.I pursued the bidding beyond what I had really set my limit at but overall I think (I hope) i've made the right decision.It turns up tomorrow and I have my fingers crossed it's all legit, otherwise it'll go back on sale again ha ha.Anyways...
