How much would you like to know about your fellow watch lovers? Are you curious about the type of people who share your passion? We thought you might be. The goal of this post is to encourage you to comment below and tell everyone a bit about who you are. In exchange, you get to read about who everyone else is. Think of it like the first day of class where you have to introduce yourself.Watch enthusiasts may share common traits but come from all walks of life. We find that diversity to be amazing and part of why we all love different things. Some of you are die-hard tool watch lovers, and others might get weak at the knees for watches with diamonds. Just over four years ago I wrote an article about six professional job categories that tend to be watch lovers. Incoming... It's been a while!
Oscar Bodybump found something for me after we just did a deal yesterday... Luckily he accepted my return as part of a deal towards something few have ever seen in person, and I don't think many (if at all) own on this Audemars subsection. The big reveal will be tomorrow! Proprietary omega speedmaster screwdriver?
Hello everyone. I received my new speedmaster today, a hesalite speedy pro. Unfortunately I am having difficulty sizing it because none of my screwdrivers seem to fit the screws. I have 1.4, 1.5, and 1.7mm. Is there a proprietary omega screwdriver or can someone PLEASE recommend a good one. I was also hoping to order some extra screws and pins. If there is not a good one online I may have to call the AD to get one ordered ?Thank you very much !Pic at work with my ugly christmas tie !Josh
Buying a used PP from AD but without papers?
Lately the Nautilus has been on my mind. I've owned many great brands over the years but never Patek. The other day I stopped by a local rolex/ patek AD and they had a 2010 5711 in blue in the pre-owned section. The price was as good as I've seen it anywhere. However the watch only came with the box, no papers. The salesman tried to convince me that not having papers was fine but having owned and later sold many watches, I don't agree. What do you think? Would you take a good deal on the 5711 from a Patek AD if there wasn't any papers? How important are those papers when getting the watch serviced or even selling the watch later?
