Visit To Audemars Piguet Boutique in Singaore ( Pic Heavy )
As a follow-up to my previous thread, I finally visited the AP Singapore boutique yesterday with a fellow TRFer and took some pictures, as shown in this thread. The AP brand is relatively new to me, and I was primarily there to check out the Royal Oak 15202 and 15400. The boutique The Watches on Display Checking out the Royal OaksI just love this bracelet! Regretfully: More thoughts on Ref 5320G
Only a few short weeks ago we all saw the release of the perpetual calendar 5320G and my first reaction was not good! In fact you may have read about my initial gut reaction here... Now, I'm suddenly starting to come around to the overall look of the watch. In fact some of my fellow forum member friends call me an old man although I am not even in my 40s yet! The similarities (no offense to the purists!) with the grail reference 3450 is likely another culprit. I was lucky enough to handle a 3450 that Mr. Bain had a couple of years ago and it is magic with incredible elegance and simplicity. Bought, didn't wear, and now sold the BLNR
I bought the BLNR less than two months ago, but it never really excited me like my 114060. It sat in my safe with all the stickers still attached. A friend of mine has been on his AD's list for one for almost a year, so I sold it to him for exactly what I paid. We are both happy and my Sub continues to be my only girl.

New DJ41 with Jubilee
Hell All,New to the forum and Rolex's. Went back and forth deciding on band, bezel and dial color. Thought I wanted silver or white face with oyster band to stay more casual . I wear jeans and dress shirts to work. But after seeing the watches in person a few times, the rhodium really spoke to me. The silver was a bit washed out in my opinion and white was nice, but rhodium provided a smooth transition to band and materials the best. I feel the jubilee goes best with the fluted bezel and and the smooth bezel and oyster compliment each other. I also felt like maybe the jubilee was too dressy but once I saw it in person, I was on board for jubilee and fluted. I love it. Won't be my last Rolex I'm sure.
