F.P. Journe Vagabondage II Watch
Fantastic new watch from F.P. Journe, I am enthralled. I was not so involve with the first Vagabondage watch, but this Vagabondage II timepiece is a damn good little number. Careful before judging it. You really need to understand where this watch is coming form. Check out all the little details in the design, understand the concept behind the digital display for the hours and minutes, appreciate the "open" nature of the dial, and I think you'll agree that it is a winner. I am not a fan of every timepiece from the brand, but again, this one really does it for me.Two versions of the watch will be released soon in November. 69 pieces in platinum and 68 is 18k rose gold. Yes, the watch is very similar in theme to the also recently released A. Lange & Sohne Zeitwerk watch, but that is ok. I feel that the market is big enough for a few versions of this "digital mechanical" theme. While the Zeitwek is more a tuxedo friendly watch, thhe Vagabondage II is a true wrist borne machine in all
FOIS leather band, where to buy?
Hello everyone,I love the first omega in space speedy, and wish my budget would allow me to get one. In the meantime I have a 1967 ref 168.022 seamaster chrono with 19mm lugs that I believe would fit the FOIS leather strap. Any idea where and if I can purchase one? I can't foresee any issues fitting but I may not be as knowledgeable as everyone on here. Thanks everyone
15300 to 5711, would you ?
Hi guys.I have been tempted lately by a little devil. I am thinking of maybe trading the 15300 white dial for a PP5711 white dial. Reason is not a financial one, it is mainly that I am not a man of many watches and I am thinking of diverting the funds for a datograph later on. Collection would be 2 to 3 watches at most but looking for true gems.Would you, would you not and the reason for it. Not that I don't like my 15300, far from it, I love it ! I am just thinking of jumping on the Patek world with a nice opportunity I have. I have always admired Patek for craftsmanship, exclusivity, under the radar and absolute beauty. Same apply to my AP in my opinion, but I am considering this opportunity I have.Let me know what you think.
UK Members! Fraser Hart Milton Keynes Steel Stock!
Just popped in to see when my new 114060 might get here and they have a 116710 LN in stock as well as an Explorer II (White dial) in the window. With the steel sports shortage going on, hope this helps someone if you've been searching for either model!
Black SS Submariner Date at AD
Hi all,I saw somebody do this for a Daytona a few months back. I was just at an AD visiting my family for Thanksgiving and they have a new Black SS Submariner Date. I know that others have said this is hard to come by these days, and we've all heard the price increase speculation. If anyone is interested I will buy it, and have your name written on the warranty card. Sales tax is 7% here on top of MSRP.If interested, I will only take a wire transfer (if you have no references) or PayPal plus fees (if you have many references) which includes MSRP, shipping plus insurance ($100) and tax. I will only ship to the U.S. I'm just trying to help a fellow TRF'er get the Sub for the Holidays. There is nothing in this for me, and I don't care if nobody takes me up on the offer.
