The Return of the Turtle: Seiko Brings Back a Classic
When it comes to the world of vintage divers, Seiko sits at the top with some of the very best. That's no exaggeration. Few brands can boast a history as storied as Seiko's when it comes to divers, a history that began in earnest in 1965 when the brand released their first dive watch, the 6127 (62MAS). In the decades that followed, Seiko would build upon this legacy with the 6215 (and subsequently, the hi-beat 6159)Seiko's first divers rated to 300mto be followed by the 6105 (made iconic on Martin Sheen's wrist in Apocalypse Now), the 6309/6306, and the 007the current benchmark of affordable divers everywhere.? And the above list simply scratches at the surface; Seiko's historical catalogue of divers goes deep.source: WUS In recent years, Seiko's vintage divers have gained a relatively robust following. 26470ST on bracelet
Looking into picking up a bracelet for my 26470ST black dial and wanted to see some photos of a 26470ST on bracelet. Sam sent me a picture when i picked up the watch which has been stuck in the back of my head (thanks sam). I just had 2 Q's:1. on my 26320OR i noticed the bracelet is very similar in thickness to the rubber strap. How thick is the bracelet on the ROO compared to the rubber. Anyone that can take a side by side photo i would greatly appreciate.2. Is there an option for me to get the Titanium bracelet? Will it match the steel? I don't think the steel will be heavy as I'm used to gold but figured it might be a interesting mix but not sure if the colors of titanium & steel would match up.
New Equation of Time - Well I did It!
So, this was the quickest big decision I've ever made! Traded my RGGP + 2,500 for a brand new Equation of Time. It wears wonderfully, very light. I miss my grand prix, but think I'll eventually replace it with a 44mm RG. Thanks to all for the advice!
Solid gold patek moon phase question
Should the spring bars on a bracelet version patek moon phase nautilus in 18k gold have gold spring bars? Could it possibly have stainless spring bars?
