Watches NEWS
New Arrival!!
Hi all,It has been a while since I added a new AP to my collection. I just received this piece a few hours ago and I was a little anxious since I have not seen this piece in person. It has been quite busy at work so I'll upload more pics this weekend. Since Mike has been teasing us with his new arrival on the Patek forum, I figured I might as well tease you guys with this shot.
Welcome to the club!
I have been an AP admirer for quite some time and in fact tried on my first which so happens was a ROO about 7 years ago. I thought to my self, self... One day you should get one of these!I was thinking seriously of late about adding an AP Safari as I have loved the look with the brown horn back strap but my slight hesitation was the lack of lume making it a bit of a turnoff but still... I was ready to overlook it. My second choice was the black rubberclad as I really like the contrast with the silver sub dials verses say the black themes. Perhaps down the road I may have to look at the Bee as I have always been a fan of black/yellow combo's.My '72 Chevelle as example...Anyway, back to watches. So, without further ado...I have to say, even though I have read all the accolades from many of you about all of the great attributes of an AP, it is quite another thing to actually wear one and see what everyone is talking about. I am loving it...One of the things I was worried about was many wh
Speedmaster apollo soyuz 311.30.42.30.99.001
Hi all, So I signed up here determined to find out more about Rolex watches and eventually to get me one. But a couple of weeks ago I discovered this Apollo SOYUZ watch - and I think instead of Rolex I now want to buy me one of those.Would any owners like to share their findings in regards to this watch - issues or otherwise?Regards, -V
WTB: Extra links for large SMP 300M needed!
Hello Omega friends, does anyone have extra links for a Seamaster Pro 300M large version? I may need one or two more links and I'm not sure where to look. The current end links have the number 825 and the clasp has the numbers 1503/825. Please let me know where to look or if you have any to sell. Thanks!
Basel Fatigue?
Hi I was wondering if anyone here sometimes wishes that Rolex would take a year off from Basel? One of the things I appreciate from Rolex, is that they stay true to their models, we don't see 100 different limited editions etc.I sometimes wonder, wouldn't it be great if Rolex only made some small changes at Basel (ie consolidate some models, perhaps put the new 32. movement in some watches) and really just focus on producing more of their current great models so they can sell more to the consumers who want them. No more 2 year waitlists!I think of the time I might save by not pondering endless speculation threads about this or that? My employer would be happy, I mean I really should take a vacation day on March 22nd because I am not exactly productive on my computer that day! Anyhow, not sure I would really like this, the anticipation is a big part of the fun, but sometimes I wonder..........
