HYT H3 Watch & Video
At Baselworld 2015, HYT (the hydromechanical horologists) will present their third major new release - the HYT H3. A few months ago, HYT presented the Skull watch (here), which, while being a new watch, was closely aligned with the original HYT H1 (hands-on here). Unique, weird, and controversial, the HYT Skull was merely a fun distraction from what would be the main attraction for 2015 - this new HYT H3 timepieces. In a nutshell, this 25-piece limited edition watch in titanium & platinum that will have a linear liquid indicator for the hours along a rotating cubic linear hour scale, along with a retrograde minute hand.HYT is clearly friendly with fellow Geneva-based futuristic high-end micro-brands such as MB&F, Urwerk and others. While the H3 resembles the DNA HYT has already been adept at developing, you see a lot of references to their industry colleagues in the design of the H3 watch and its more angular rectangular-shaped case that is 62mm wide by 41mm tall. Hi everyone, introducing my latest accusation. Royal oak concept michael schumacher Laptimer.
Superocean Heritage 46
I saw this watch a couple of days ago in an airport. Don't think I'd seen it close to before and didn't realize how nice it was. I'd always fancied a Sub, but it's just too small on my wrist. Think maybe the Breitling fits the bill.In a London AD, what % off MSRP do you think is likely to be given? Don't want to pay over the odds, but don't really know what it should go for.
Bezel Swap for SMP Chrono
I took my SMP out of my closet after it sat for over 10 years. I noticed that the bezel which is chrome with blue numbers and markers have been chipped off some so I purchased a knock off bezel for $20 from eBay. The seller states the swap will be easy and will not require nothing more than a pocket knife. Well, I was able to remove the bezel with numerous tries, but can't seem to budge the insert off. I tried for half an hour and finally gave up. I am going to bring it to a jewelry store that offers watch repair to see if they can do the swap. Has anyone tried to do this themselves? Or have taken it to a repair shop for the job? Here is a pic of my watch.
Oysterclasp springbar problem
Hi everyone,Recently acquired an explorer ii. I've noticed that the snap-fit mechanism was loose and upon closer inspection, one end of the springbar that attaches the snap-fit module to the clasp does not fit in the clasp hole.I've taken a couple of photos to hopefully illustrate this problem better. No matter how hard I try, I can't get the springbar to fit. It is not bent. The springbar fits the clasp without the snap-fit module but not when it is through the module. Any thoughts?Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
