Watches NEWS
Ap nyc/apsc
I just wanted to do a quick post about my recent experience with AP in light of all the hand wringing about accuracy and movement issues. I sent in my RO for the 3 year warranty and to have them check the movement as it was running fast. Dropped it off on 7/28 and received the call today 8/15 that it is back and ready to be picked up. So three weeks max, including shipping both ways. Could not ask for more -- AP service is by far the best of all the brands I have dealt with. So, yes, my APs tend to run fast but if there is ever an issue AP fixes it no questions asked, and they do it pronto. This is why my next watch will be another AP. So if you like APs but the horror stories of movement issues are holding you back, buy what you like, enjoy it and stop worrying about 10 seconds here and there. Slow down, enjoy the watch and rest assured it will be fixed should anything go wrong.
AP Royal Oak 39mm YG Chronograph - preowned
I received an offer today of $20,500 for my mint F serial 26022BA.00.D088CR.01 with box and papers. Do you think it is a fair value? I know the 39mm is not as popular anymore but was hoping for $23-24k.
This is a good stock video from Basel 2014

Complimentary Panerai
I love my Panerai watches. It's nice to have a different case plus a different look. For example, I have a 112 (Luminor 44mm, no date, no seconds hand, sandwich dial) and a 514 (Radiomir, 50s style case, transition type model, 47mm, date and seconds). Very different watches. Both have rather flat sapphire crystals. I'm going to get a 424 next - round crystal, classic Radiomir case/lugs and very different California dial. No date of course. What are your favorite combos? Have the "numeral" dial sky dwellers been discontinued?
https://.rolex/watches/sky-dweller.htmlIs this old news and I'm behind the times, or am I missing something? They all seem to have the baton dial including PM models.
