Breitling: how tough?
i have been hesitant to test my Breit Automatic....as in, take it on a brick (run 1 hr, ride 1hr, offroad or on) or even running with me.need some ideas from you learned souls. can a breitling stand up to a triathlon? to a ride or run? off road? it's on a strap btw.(ever since I got it, my TAG Aquaracer (quartz) has blasted though all of thee above, plus world travel, diving, and 10 years of emergency services work. so i know many high end (quartz) watches can take the punishment, but...)thanks!
Early Constellation
I have been looking at an early Constellation on ebay, it looks nice but I was wondering about the movement. ebay # 172387448940.ebay/itm/Vintage-1952...QAAOSwn7JYCWsGWhen did they start marking the movements with Adjusted 5 pos.......... with chronometers. Thanks in advance.
Another incoming from Takuya - SubC
Many heard the thread I posted. I was looking for my second SubC. My first Rolex purchase was a Sub brand new back in the day in 2003. We are planning to give that to our son for graduating college. I was on the search for a new Sub. many of the trusted sellers were selling like new at new prices. I actually ended up finding a new one. I was sleeping on it when I texted my old pal Takuya to see if he had a like new. Timing is everything. He did. I asked just how good it was as the delta from new AD to Trusted seller needed to be worth while. He said it was in perfect shape, just like new. I jumped on it and got it today.Enjoy the pics as much as I am enjoying the glidelock (have one on my Hulk and fell in love)Takuya rocks!!!1.jpg2.jpg3.jpg4.jpg5.jpg
Explorer II (216570) thoughts ............
Contemplating this as my next 'Rollie' purchase, should I go new or pre-owned. Personally I don't mind pre-owned if everything is in order. Were there any significant changes, updates that I should be aware of ?
