Cartier Oops With New Les Must Collection Ad?
The new Les Must collection from Cartier is a redo on an older Les Must collection from "back then." I think it was from the early 80s. Not that the collection looks the same, but the name has been re-used. That is fine. I believe the collection is a little bit more 'affordable' than most new Cartier products, as a way of helping to hedge a large consumer neglect of luxury purchases - the recession really slammed the industry. To get people excited about new products (or at least aware of then), watch makers need to advertise. This is clear. How they advertise varies greatly. Most of it in my opinion is rubbish. Never really does a good job of getting people excited about the products. At least not people like me. I prefer to see items in their "natural environment." Otherwise watch makers actually do something that is really funny, or just plain odd. Which is amusing because they are typically so conservative. At least Cartier is. Well Cartier is gonna hate me for saying this, but I ha
Casual Leather Strap Ideas
I just acquired a Speedmaster 9300 steel on steel. I have the black leather aligator strap too. Love the watch on its bracelet. I will be in Paris next month and wish to get a casual looking strap made at ABP. Any suggestions for what works? Pictures would be great. Seems the choices are overwhelming - it might help to have some pictures to point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Which Patek Chrono to pair with ALS 1815 Chrono
Hey mates,I really enjoy my 1815 Chrono. Looking to add a Patek chrono to the mix as I moved a few watches out. Been debating between the 5170G black dial and the 5960P grey dial - which could be had for a very nice price these days (50K USD). Two different watches in aesthetics and movement architecture. But I just ran into a beautiful & untouched 5070G which I've been smitten by, so much better in the metal than in pics, I simply forgot how beautiful it is. So basically which Patek chrono would compliment my 1815 Chromo boutique edition (with the blue markings).5170G Black - different color and aesthetic to the Lange, dressier.5960P Grey - Totally different design and the addition of an annual calendar. More sporty and I've always had soft spot for the 59605070G - white dial. Absolute classic. Only appreciating in value. But similar vintage style aesthetic to the Lange.IMG_1926.jpgIMG_1667.jpgIMG_8050.jpgB7-GRl2CUAEG4jK.jpg001_Patek-Philippe-Annual-Calendar-5960P-001-Pla
Two questions
Hello friends.I need please if you guys can clarify these questions:It is a statement known that watches Panerai with movements ETA can be fixed by any good watchmaker and is not the same with automated in-house wich is preferable that are sent to specialized service of Panerai. The question it happen the same with the Manual winding movement developed in-house by Panerai I mean the P-5000 for example. The other question is that seeing PAM catalog I have noticed that Panerai watches with dial brown are with brushed Titanium case. Never with polished case and brown dial?Thank you very much and have everyone a Merry Christmas.
