Should I buy a Cockpit Big Date
I have the opportunity to buy a Cockpit big date with a silver dial. Are these desirable Breitlings and what would be a fair price. The watch is all stainless and is not a chrono. I think it's 41mm if that sounds right. Never owned a Breitling before so any info pros an cons of this mode is appreciated. Thanks!!
Question regarding AD's and their pricing
Hello, I've recently been considering making my first luxury watch purchase, an Omega Planet Ocean. I spent some time at a local AD handling the Planet Ocean, Speedmaster Day Date, Submariner, and GMT Master II Ceramic. I fell in love with the Planet Ocean and GMT Master II, but liked the more 'conservative' look of the Planet Ocean. I liked the Submariner (who doesn't?) but wasn't impressed with the clasp mechanism. I felt the clasp on the Planet Ocean was nicer.Anyways, I've seen a lot of different numbers thrown around for the pricing of this watch. I was quoted $3,000 at my AD, however I'm unsure if that included a discount. Is that what I can expect to pay or should I look at other AD's before buying? For reference, this is the exact model I plan on purchasing: .omegawatches/index.ph...000&no_cache=1
Advice on a Summer Watch
I am lucky enough to now own, thanks to you guys, a nautilus 5712 and a GMT 16710 with both black and Pepsi bezels. I am perfectly happy, however! I have always liked black rubber strap watches, a supplier got me an I watch lately and I love the look and feel, but cant swap out my nice watches for it. Im thinking for summer holidays on the beach and pool I may go for one more watch, but for the purpose it would need to be a great strap and a great watch for summer. Please can I have your expert suggestions? YM may be a little delicate in gold? Aquanaught? Panerais I love but too big I reckon. Thanks in advance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The Patek Philippe Register
Does anybody know the exact procedure ?1.Customer purchasing the watch and AD may fill out the SoO with the customer details .Will AD report purchase details to PP or it isn t obligatory ?2.First owner sending back the registration card or filling it out on PPs website , PP confirms the details by email informing the customer of his username password to PP s owners section .3.if the first owner sells the watch to someone ,is it possible to register the same watch again ? What happens if you inherit or getting it as a present - i talk about already registered watches-.thanks
