AP with cars | Wife or GF | Other toys
Alright guys,I have seen a few threads like this on other forums and they always turn out to be awesome. Post a photo of your AP with your cars, bikes, significant others, cigars, etc. Let's see who can get the most creative! I will kick it off with the moment I unwrapped my first AP and let my girlfriend have the honor of trying it on first.
One must go....but which one ???
Alas, it looks like real life is intruding on my fantasy one and I have to move one of either my Panda or Bumble Bee. I love the versatility of the Panda and have a bracelet for it as well as the OEM horn back and it is certainly easy to adapt to any situation. But the Bee is just.....COOL....its not for everyone and I have no idea how I could ever wear it with a suit, but I do love strapping it on in the summer.Considering the watch that I would be left with would be my main wearer (I do have a PVD Panerai, but dont wear it much...cant sell this one....dont ask...sentimental value) What would you do? TIA
Anyone has 5396/1G Bracelet Wrist Shot?
Never seen one on the wrist, anyone has it, please post your wrist shot!Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Want a 1450 Top Hat for big 5-0
I have a few more years to go, but I would love to have a 1450/Top Hat for my 50th. I am just starting to research, and I see there is a gold, rose gold, and platinum one. I presume they originally came on leather straps, but I know I would not wear a leather band watch as much as I would one on a metal (gold) bracelet.Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!
Would love your opinion
Is a Datejust 41, blue face, fluted bezel, jubilee bracelet a bit too flashy for everyday casual wear?At bit of context... I'm 46 in a professional, but casual, setting. No one around has any watch game. I'm typically in a polo with a sweater vest. I'm wanting to venture into that Rolex but don't want it to stick out too much. Plan on the watch being an heirloom that I can pass down to my son but would be an everyday wear. I've heard that fluted and jubilee don't show scratches as much as the smooth on oyster. How much is that a factor?I keep vacillating between smooth bezel on oyster and fluted bezel on jubilee. I'm not much on the Rolex options with numbers on the bezel like the Sea Dweller or Sub-Mariner.I'd love the collective wisdom of TRF.
