Glash��tte Original Premieres Five New Short Films on the Brand at Berlinale 2015
German luxury watch brand Glash��tte Original chose a perfect venue in which to unveil to the public its innovative film project: the 65th Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale), with which the brand has partnered since 2011. WatchTime was among the select group of international journalists in attendance for the premiere screening of five new short films offering different perspectives on the brand. Introducing: The Harry Winston Countdown To A Cure Timepiece To Support HIV Research
Harry Winston has released a new limited edition watch, the Countdown to a Cure Timepiece, to benefit amfAR's (The American Foundation for AIDS Research) efforts to develop a cure for HIV/AIDS. Twenty percent of the retail sales price of each watch will be donated to the cause. The limited collection will be produced in a series of 20 women's watches and 20 men's watches. 1 OF 2 Both watches stem from the Midnight Collection. The men's version is a simple design with an automatic movement fitted in a 42 mm white-gold case and navy blue iridescent dial with applied baton indexes. Having only placed the order yesterday, at 10:30 am this morning I was able to add my first Omega to my collection, thanks to the professional, polite & punctual DavidSW. He really is a nice guy and so easy to deal with. Thank you David.!First thing that struck me was how clear the watch is with the double sided AR coating on the sapphire, paired with the matte dial. It really draws the eyes to the shape of the hands and the omega symbol at 12 o/c.Totally different to the look on my BLNR, but a perfect addition to sit next to it. The watch was perfect and as described, all paperwork & boxes. Couldn't be happier. I hope the 2500d movement treats me well.
