Gc Sport Class XL Watch
Does anything about this watch look familiar? It should if you follow Zenith watches at all. This is Gc's rendition of the Zenith Defy X-treme watches. Frankly, I think the Gc does it a bit better, especially on the price side. I am sorry, the Zenith Defy X-treme watches are cool, but so NOT $20,000 grand plus cool. Those are just a long toss into depreciation alley. While the Gc Sport Class XL watch is not without its issues (starting with the name), it is a nice looking watch, and I'd be proud to sport it.Gc (Guess Collection) is the Guess company's watch brand. Though when I look at the name I always think Gucci. Guess as a company has had better days, but I hope that they continue to invest in their watch brand as they have someinteresting stuff to say the least. For example, the Swiss quartz movement has a 12 hour chronograph that has been incorporated into two subdials. The minutes subdial also has a smaller subdial inside of it for the hours. New Addition, and new shoes
Hello Everyone!It has been a while since I last posted on this forum, but recently I found a good reason to do so: I bought another Royal Oak from DavidSW. This time it was an Offshore, Navy. What can I say, an AMAZING transaction as always, and a spectacular piece!And, having APSC so close to where I live, it just made it so much easier for me to almost immediately get new shoes for my new ROO. BTW, Ms, Lindsay Peterson (After Sales) and Kevin (Watchmaker), at APSC, were incredibly welcoming / friendly / professional. They helped me with the parts department in sourcing the the navy blue hornback strap. It is always a treat to stop by their offices! As much as like the rubber strap, the blue hornback looks just at home on my RO; at least to me. Below, please find some pics. I really like this combo. Thanks!

Is the Sky Dweller��s movement really the most complex Rolex makes?
Let me start this thread by saying that I rally, really like the SS Sky D. Would be white for me. Or maybe black. Who cares. I love them both And I also appreciate that the combination of an annual calander and second time zone are very clever and represent great value in SS for what you get. But all this talk of the Sky D movement being the most complicated that Rolex makes? That being the case, why is the SS Sky D significantly cheaper than the SS YM2? I've just read a thread about a supposed price increase for the SS Sky D and much talk about it being too cheap. But I don't agree. The Saros system whilst extremely clever is actually quite simple in operation. And the 24 hour wheel is fundamentally a function of simple engineering. So I'd put it the forum that Rolex's most complicated movement is actually that in the YM2 and that the Sky D is actually quite fairly priced for what you get and not the bargain that some would suggest?Thoughts?
