Dent Ministry Chronograph Watch
I haven't covered the watch brand Dent in quite some time, but wanted to bring your attention to this attractive chronograph model made by the brand whose name goes back to the maker of London's Big Ben clock. This piece is called the Dent Ministry Chronograph, and while not a totally original design, is very well-proportioned and attractive.The Ministry is a larger range collection for the brand with at least three different model types. The chronograph model has a 43mm wide case with a thick sloped bezel and case. There are rings engraved into the side of the case to help reduce visual mass, and the square chronograph pushers help even out the look.The Ministry Chronograph dial is almost minimalist, but in a very elegant way. The design is good, offering key elements of style without going overboard. The dials of course are inspired by classic Dent pocket watches. This is essentially a sport watch in a sport jacket. The chronograph is a decidedly difficult complication to produce – that much we know. After all, up until about 15 years ago there were less than a handful of manually wound chronographs in existence. Another great tenet of watchmaking is that of the ultra-thin movement, a specialty practically owned these days but nobody but Piaget. Broken screwdriver tip
Oh well it only took 3 weeks but I've managed to snap the tiny tip off the end of the screwdriver I'm assuming you can buy a new tip from Panerai as it can be removed or do you have other recommendations? What size is the tip? I've read it's 1.6mm.

I have a two year old and live by the beach so I am looking into something simple and everyday worthy but dependable and timless. I looked trough several recommended online sites, ADs and some of your member website but eventually found this:Brand new with papers and boxLadies26 Pink Dial SSOyster Braceletfor $5295 retail $6100Now I am a little confused about the pictures showing those little grooves on the side of the body.I can not find any other references or pictures for this model with those grooves.Too good to be true? Untouched (but looks crap) vs. Proper Refinish (but original proportions)
Want to hear your thoughts on the following, for your 60's-70s Vintage Rolex what condition would you want it in.a.) Untouched, but all scratched up looks like crap> This option is true to its originality but is banged up full of character but looks really beat up.b.) Looks like NOS but refinished professionally by LA Watchworks for example> This option is polished but restored / touched to original proportions and bevels. Looks brand new and all the bevels and chamfers are exactly proportional to if it was new.
