Back to Rolex FOR GOOD from AP
I loved this watch but changing the date on the 1st, the crown/stem came out. It's been repaired under warranty but I've lost confidence in the brand!Rolex for me from now??
Model number required for my Omega
I have the box but can't find the Omega ID card for my Omega Constellation. I purchased it in 2000.Can anyone help with a model number or link to a specification?TIA
Quick Question about Omega Warranty Cards
I should know the answer to this, but I don't. The warranty cards on most of my Omegas look like this (stole the pic from another forum and cropped it):Now, obviously the date is blank so the three year warranty can start whenever I need it to, but what is the significance of the 2011 stamp? All of mine have it. Does it mean that regardless of the date filled in in the spot above, the warranty is only good through 2011?Thanks for your help.
Best way to store an auto movement
Not necessarily a Rolex topic. But what is the safest or best way to store an automatic? I wear my hulk on the weekends. During the week I have it in a winder. If I decide to store it longterm, what would be good for the movement? If it's on a winder, then the movement is continually running. Would this wear the parts down and still need a servicing after 5 or more years. I've also heard some pull the crown out in the hacking position to stop the movement but I would think this would be bad for the spring. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Online reseller warranty?
Hey everyone- i have a question about buying a Rolex or Tudor from Jomashop for example... I've been eyeing the Tudor BB Steel&Gold, I would pick it up from a seller here on TRF but hardly ever see one for sale. Jomashop's price is a bit cheaper than an AD- and was wondering if the watch comes with TUDOR's two-year warranty or just what Jomashop offers? I never purchased a watch from an online reseller such as Jomashop or Authenticwatches etc. Do folks here buy from these places? As always- Much Appreciated Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
