Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda Retrograde Annual Calendar
Parmigiani Fleurier’s manufacturing team has created both hand-wound and automatic movements, including the perpetual calendar, tourbillons, an ultra-slim model, chronograph, the Bugatti and the Hemispheres, but an annual calendar was missing, until now. It appears in the Tonda collection in a case measuring 40mm in diameter.The new complication is based on the brand’s PF 331 automatic movement, with the incorporation of a new additional Parmigiani module, creating the PF 339 Annual Calendar. The Annual Calendar automatically accounts for the variation in the number of days in each month. Only one manual correction needs be made each year, (for the month of February in non-leap years). In a leap year, the date will display February 29 and will automatically advance to March 1 the following day.The Tonda Retrograde Annual Calendar features a hand which indicates the date from 1-31 on the retrograde sector on the outer dial. Hello All,This is the first time I post here on the Patek section but I've been following it for some time.I've been trying for a while to source or at least have my name put on the waiting list for the 5711 (blue dial) but was never really successful. So I decided today to call as many ADs as possible. I went on the Patek website and got the number of their ADs in Europe, Middle East and Asia. I ended up calling more than 50 ADs and I only managed to have my name put on the list in 3 or 4 stores (including the Geneva salon)!!!!! And the waiting time is 3-5 years! Add to that I think the ADs that took my name will never contact me. I know I still have the USA ADs to call but to be honest I got tired of the same answer and I think the situation will be the same in the USA. How can this watch be that hard to get? I see it all over the internet (mainly instagram) and I wonder how is everyone managing to buy it! I know I can buy it from a grey dealer but to be honest I find it ridiculous t

Help - looking at 3445 as first Patek
All: thank you so much in advance. Been looking at a 3445 Calatrava that has sat with a vintage dealer for over one year. (anybody know Swiss Watch Expo?). What can I do to avoid making a mistake here? I.e., should I expect this watch to keep perfect time or will performance degrade over decades? Can it be reconditioned to run perfectly and by whom? And how do I have it checked to make sure it's real? (The dealer sells a lot of Pateks but I'm still cautious). Thanks!
