Good sources for vintage Omega?
I'm on the lookout for a late 50's to early 60's Constellation Pie-Pan. Ideally a gold cap or solid with the broad arrow markers.I am absolutely smitten by this watch but it seems hard to find in decent shape. Anyone have any pointers to good places to look?
5712 vs 5726 water rating?
Anyone know why the 5712 is only 60m waterproof instead of 120m, which according to its own manual is due to the two pushers for the moon phase and date corrections. But the 5726 is rated to 120m even though it has four pushers to correct the day, month, date and moon phase?Does this have something to do with the 240 movement in disguise? Other than that, it makes no sense.Anyone have any thoughts on this? I believe the 5712 is the only Nautilus rated below 120m. I also think it is the only Nautilus with a 240 movement. Even the Aquanaut 5164 has a 120m rating even with a corrector pusher for the date and the two large pushers for the time function. Weird.Any thoughts?
Extract from the Archive
Hi,Lately I've seen several Pateks offered at auctions that have the original CO certificate and an Extract from the Archives certificate.Has anyone ordered an Extract if you already have the CO and why did you bother?Regards
I get it now .. introducing..
This is my 1st Panerai post. Hello to Panerai enthusiasts here. Introducing my 1st Panerai to you. I chose zero over 112 being very close 2nd after extensive readings and Internet search. I finally got one, pre-loved with excellent condition R serial delivered this afternoon. Presently surprised with hefty weight and impressed with top-notch finish. Now I'm excited to see how my life would change with zero! Quote from PaneraireviewOne thing for sure- your life will never be the same again once you have owned your first PaneraiSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
569 or 441?
Anybody have one or the other or have thought about getting either piece?
