Urwerk UR-105 TA 'Turbine Automatic' Watches In Fancy Colors
With the new-for-2015 Urwerk UR-105 TA collection, the Swiss brand is making one of their most appealing timepiece collections even better. In 2014, Urwerk first unveiled the UR-105M watches which introduced a great new design as well as a new entry-level price point for the brand. The next model in the family is the Urwerk UR-105 TA "Turbine Automatic Knight Watches," which extends the range with not only new visual styles, but a totally different movement. Whereas the UR-105M was a manually-wound timepiece, the Urwerk UR-105 TA (UR-105TA) contains an automatic winding movement (Urwerk's "Turbine Automatic" system). Why "Turbine Automatic?" Well, most Urwerk automatic watches have a oscillating rotor which is connected to a set of turbines that visually spin with the rotor. Part of this is just for fun and showmanship, but it is also part of a system which allows the rotor to spin either easily, with a bit more resistance, or to stop it all together (when you expect the Urwerk UR-105 T

What do you think of Aquanaut models?
My interest being new to Patek Philippe as some already know, and my tastes being mostly in sporty/dressy watches, I look at Nautilus and Aquanaut models, but have to say don't think I would buy an Aquanaut, sure it's a nice watch but seems very basic in design, when the Nautilus has a very original, a little bit 70's style but cool enough to be actual.I think if I do get one day a PP I will prefer to flip a few watches that I don't wear anymore, add a few thousand and get a Nautilus, they have much more appeal to me, I understand if someone prefers the Aquanauts but in my case the preference goes clearly to the Gerald Genta designed cases. What do Patek fans think about these watches?
114060 How Thin Does it Wear?
This question is for all you thin watch fanatics like me...How thin does the 114060 wear in YOUR experience? After owning an ETA Black Bay for well over a year I'm ready to let it go for a Rolex. Naturally, the watch I'm drawn to most is the 114060. I've tried it on a bunch of times and am seriously considering it. Do any of you feel that it's too tall? I love my Black Bay but my main complaint is that it's all midcase.Bonus question... to those of you who've owned 5 & 6 digit sub nds. Can you tell a difference on case height?Thank you!
