Watches NEWS
BEST FROM: watches-dealer & Friends August 16th
In the past two weeks, watches-dealer reviewed two affordable dive watches that changed my mind about boutique dive watch brands. And the other end of the price spectrum, there's Patek Philippe's lovely new Gondolo 8 day watch; and we examine the differences between buying watches online as opposed to a brick and mortar retail shop.?Speaking of buying watches, after-sales service is very important for luxury watch brands and I recently found out how Audemars Piguet takes care of its customers in Singapore.1.?Bell & Ross BR01-94 Pro Titanium Carbon Fiber Watch ReviewTo have a instantly recognizable design is one of the highest praisees a watch designer can have, and one cannot deny that Bell & Ross watches have a look that is distinctly theirs. I got a great deal today from Pete17 (who by the way is a class guy) in buying his Speedmaster.Anyway I thought the watch was worthy of a look through my Loupe to check out the dial up close.Low and behold I found this mark. Attention to all pin fitted Nautilus bracelet owner
Hi ,I just got a 1.5link at my AD yesterday ,he took 2links out put the new link back I got the perfect fit now .But more importantly during i ve put the links & pins back to the box at home I ve played a little with the removed pins , now listen one of the freshly removed pin went through the sleeve like the hot knife through the butter , seems it was a manufacturing defect the pin diameter was a slightly lower than should be . I ve checked with the other sleeves back and forth so it was the pin too small.I m not saying it needs zero force to push it through but a very slight movement is enough to get it in and out.Watch is BNIB from an AD-i cut the seal- one month old prematured wear isn t the issue in this case.My advice either check or get checked your pins if it happened with me it could happen with you.For those who are not aware ,PP went from screws to pin fitted bracelet a couple of years before due to the large number of broken screws ,the system is simple a pin and a sle
Incameing - For Her!
Shreve & Co in Palo Alto was having a Panerai event last Thursday and as my favorite salesperson Lisa says, The best place to buy a Panerai is at a Panerai event.I had picked out the 523 ahead of time as the one that my wife would need to get. Lisa pulled it out and I had my wife model it for the corporate reps they had out who all agreed with me that it looked amazing. She ended up being convinced and once you have one of these on the wrist the watch itself does the rest of the convincing. Here's a shot with my 372.
