Piaget Polo FortyFive Chronograph Watch + Video
Here is the beautiful and uncommonly sporty new Polo Chronograph from Piaget that debuted at SIHH this year. What I really like is this video from TheTimeTVwatches-dealer that has Piaget themselves casually discuss the watch. I love hearing that smooth French accent discuss this fine offering, from a fine watch company. Interestingly enough their primary focus, is my primary focus: ease of life with the watch. They aren't going on about the luxury of the watch, but rather the functions, comfort and overall quality. It is really refreshing to hear that (especially from Piaget) that them going on about how this watch "defines haute horology."You can tell that the new Polo Forty Five watch is something new for them. Trade SMP for Speedy Pro?
My first luxury watch was the SMP black dial James Bond. I've since bought a Rolex sub and don't see the point of owning two dive watches. The Omega still has sentimental value, being my first real watch. It also looks better (IMO) and feels more substantial than the sub. Nonetheless, I'm considering trading it out for a speedy pro. I don't particularly like the looks of the moonwatch. I honestly don't think it will get much wrist time. However, it has history, just like the submariner, so I think it would be a good trade for my slowly growing collection. I'm just wondering what you guys think? Stick with my first love? Or go with the collectible?

Shouldn't all high end sport watches be like this?
I am not a huge VC fan, but one thing I do like with their new overseas collection is that you can go between bracelet, rubber or leather strap without problem. It gets really tiring when you put 20-30K in a sports watch and the manufacturer does everything in his power to prohibit you changing anything, if you get a Nautilus on bracelet it is impossible to put a strap, and vice versa, , even Rolex does it, when I got my Daytona RG on strap I asked and was told that it was impossible to put a bracelet on it because of the different lug width, they are becoming very boring with this, I would love when I get my 5712 to be able to go from bracelet to rubber, even to leather if I want to, how long will brands play this little game of limiting the possibilities of making the watch like you want and when you want…Here's a pic of the VC where you have the 3 possibilitiesVacheon-Constantin-4500V-110A-B128_STRAPS.jpg

I see a lot of panerai watches for sale here and while most list for under retail even if BNIB I know there are some that appreciate. Aside from the bronzos, which PAMs have typically held their value or go up?
