Two New Highly Complicated IWC Ingenieur Watches In Red Gold For 2015
Two new and indeed highly complicated additions to the IWC Ingenieur family for 2015 are the IWC?Ingenieur Constant-Force Tourbillon and the IWC?Ingenieur Perpetual Calendar Digital Date-Month, both?now available in a new colorway dominated by red gold. This grants us the opportunity to take a closer look at these similar and yet oh-so-different watches from IWC.Starting off with the big (well, bigger) gun, the IWC Ingenieur?Constant Force?Tourbillon is what it says on the cover C and, in fact, quite a bit more. The tourbillon, as you may have seen?in the?video of the $750,000 Portuguese Sidrale Scafusia, has?a "dead-beat" ticking motion to it, advancing once every second C like a normal seconds hand on most?quartz watches. What's responsible for that is the?patented constant-force mechanism that ensures that the amplitude of the balance, and hence,?timekeeping?accuracy remain consistent.Although the 94800 in-house caliber offers?96 hours of power reserve courtesy of its two mainsprin
leather strap fitting questions on ROC 26320
hi! im a new user to this forum, longtime watch enthusiast...i just got mi first AP ROC in rose gold, absolutely love this watch, however i have a few questions, does anybody know how to fit it properly? right now the leather strap is too tight in one hole, and too loose in the other, is there a way to adjust this without having to change for a long/short strap?thanks!
Video on some soon to come things....
I just stumbled across this video. I can't believe I did see it when it was released 4 months ago! I even looked for this type of content. So last year I saw a video with the CEO reference a new in-house chrono. I've been told it would be in the ROO. Here the CEO references it again and also references two up coming directions for the RO. This new chrono movement will be in those. An informative video and maybe good things to come in 2017. https://.youtube/watch?v=P_mCHDVk
Confused about SMP
New member here. Very pleased to be here!I've been a Breitling man for the last 12 years or so but am now looking at a new SMP. They are very nice I am confused though and wonder if somebody can put me right.I see posts about a quartz model. I wouldn't want to buy one of those by accident and I'm wondering how to tell the difference. Do they have quartz written on the dial? Many thanks.
Speedmaster bezels, which is correct ?
I am thinking of replacing my very rough bezel/bezel insert on my latest Speedmaster (see 3rd photo down) It is a pre moon model 145022-69 (from early 1969) I have an option to buy a couple of bezels which supposedly are for this vintage but one has a hyphen over the first E in TACHYMETRE and the other one does not (see photos)The current bezel I have on does not have the hyphen and I am assuming it is the original so obviously I want to replace with the same, anyone know when this hyphen came in please, thanks.
