Any thoughts on this Omega ?
Hello,I was just googling around (and found some interesting history on my specific Sub which I will post in the Rolex forum ) , but I came accross this vintage Omega.Tried to google images to find same one , but couldnt. I found similar but not this font ,and a few other minor differences. This is the only pic I have , of the shop's website. Before I spend time getting more pics and details , I would appreciate your thoughts - does it look genuine (shop is supposedly okay) and is it worth close to the asking price of Euro 1400 - I can haggle later. Thanks as always
Rollie and Omega
Do any of you like to change back and forth between your Omegas and your Rollies? I have a Seamaster and I really like it. It does not have the ultimate gravitas of the Rolex, but it is definitely nice and I find the two to be kindred watch spirits. What do you think?
5 things I learned from the 5740 (Nautilus PP) release...
1. That Patek is committed to keeping the Nautilus as a 40mm watch. With the last three new releases of the Aquanaut being at 40.8mm (5164), and then twice at 42.2mm (5168 and 5968) it is clear (at least to me) that ALL future Aquanauts are going to be larger than 40mm. The fact that they kept the 5740 at 40mm likewise makes it clear to me that the Nautilus will forever be a 40mm watch.2. That the 5712 has a water rating of 60m instead of 120m because of the 240 movement, not the pushers. Many people have said that the 5712 had a lower water rating than the other Nautilus watches because of the pushers to correct the moonphase and date. However, I always thought it had something to do with the 240 movement because the 5712 was the only Nautilus with that movement whereas the 5726 had pushers and still retained a 120m water rating. Even with advances over the past 12 years since the 5712 was introduced, the 5740 still came out with a 60m water rating. The 5740 and the 5712 are the only tw
Stolen!! Rolex Sky Dweller Yellow Gold
My home in downtown Miami was burglarized on 1/23/2018 and my Rolex Sky Dweller was taken. It is a new model with gold bracelet and champagne dial w arabic numerals. The watch was almost new with some plastics still on it. Serial 301428Y7 as they did leave box and card. I am offering a reward if found and will remain anonymous. Also any suggestions as to what i should do would be appreciated.
Rolex needs a bracelet.
Guys,This forum is really hard with poating pictures!Anyhow, I just tried my new colareb strap, between a grey and blue color, on my 114270. The strap is really nice looking, but the Rolex just well... Doesn't look like a Rolex anymore. I am such a fan of the Rolex bracelets!Again, very hard to post pictures here, I eill try later today to post. BTW guys, when removing thr bracelet I noticed the Stainless still written between the Lugs kind of erased? I mean it alnost disappeared. Is it normal? When I bought the watch (preowned) I could easily see it. But now, almoat gone...Thanks guys. Cheers!
