This is the longest I had to wait for a watch. I ordered in Feb. of this year. I had considered the AP 15305 for quite some time in 2015 and almost pulled the trigger but they were not too easy to find. I saw one for sale from a Grey Dealer who turned out to jerk me around on the price--- telling me he had a new old stock for a bit less than original MSRP. This was what was advertised on Chrono24. Then he wrote back and said he only had a slightly used one for about 5K over the original list price. However when I heard about the newer AP 15407, I decided to wait. I guess the demand was quite high but was able to put a deposit on the last of 5-- the Las Vegas AP Boutique had coming for the year. Well I got the call last weekend and took delivery on Friday. I was hoping to get some AP goodies but did not. I was told if I send in for free 1st service during the first 3 years-- I get a 2 year warranty extension. Hello guys,Just received my 5712/1A, above my expectations !Is there any advice that I should follow to preserve the watch ?Notice that it mark quite easily, how can I clean it ?Should I use a winder for I dont use the watch ?Any advices would be welcome !ThanksFab

Fair trade, SubC for Explorer II?
Hi, I've been a long time lurker/reader & have learnt a lot from the forum.Thought it's about time I joined the forum.I'm a one watch guy. I currently have a Ceramic Sub that I bought brand new in early 2014. Lately I've been feeling I need a change and I'm being pulled towards an Explorer II 216570.A pre-owned dealer has offered a trade for my Sub + ��400 from me for a full set mid-2017 Explorer II.Would this be considered a fair trade?Am I mad even considering letting the Sub go? One thing I feel I should add is that I no longer have the box and warranty card for my watch. We had a break in a few years back, the B and P were taken then.I hope I haven't broken any forum rules by asking this question.
