Darker Knights: Roger Dubuis Presents Its Latest Excalibur Knights of the Round Table Edition
Manufacture Roger Dubuis has brought out a new version of the medieval masterpiece that marries perfectly with its flagship Excalibur collection: the Excalibur Knights of the Round Table.? The first?interpretation, unveiled in 2013 (and which we covered here), the designers of the Geneva-based manufacture presented a 28-piece limited edition in rose gold with 12 knights made of gold, seated around an enamel-and-decal reproduction of the Tudor-green-and-cream-painted English Oak Round Table made for King Henry VIII and placed in the Grand Hall of his castle at?Winchester. This was my Dad's old watch. He was a jeweler and I remember when he had the diamonds set into the bezel. Just doing some research on the watch now and can't seem to find one that matches the face of this one for identification purposes. Any ideas? Thanks
Return to Panerai?
I had a 312 for awhile and it lost its wrist time after getting into Rolex. I sold it and purchased a DSSD with the funds. I've been casually visiting this sub forum the last few weeks and starting to get that itch again. Over the weekend I was out shopping with my wife and visited a watchmaker/used dealer I've used in the past that was in the area. I tried on a preowned 233 w/ dot dial and a 270. I really really dig the look of the domed crystal. Now I see why so many covet the 233. Anyways the owner said if I was serious we can work something out on the 233. The last month or so I've been obsessing over an AP RO and thought about getting one for my 40th bday. Getting the 233 would derail that a bit, but looking at preowned or even BNIB from trusted sellers, it looks like AP RO can be had when ready (except the blue dialed non-jumbo ones).Well don't want this to be a PAM vs AP thread, as they are apples vs oranges. Looking at watch recon, 233 dot dial aren't as common, but

First Panerai for me. I always liked the simple classic look. I picked this up from David SW and as usual easy and great transaction. I like the black strap that it came with but I swapped it out for brown. I was lucky the Miami boutique had one left in stock. I feel the color matches perfectly.
