Hublot GreenGo Bang Watch: To Celebrate Partying
Have you been to the Gstaad Palace? No? Well, then I am sorry to say that you probably don't know about GreenGo - the popular club that is now celebrating its 40th anniversary. I don't think it has changed since it was created. According to their site (and images), the club remains in its 1970s era fittings. Looks like what would happen if you built a lounge in an underground pool that just happened to double as a dungeon. Though for this Californian, the name of the 'hot spot' is just "gringo." What is more funny is that the watch almost has the colors of the Mexican flag on it.According to GreenGo's website. It is open only during the winter (what, no one visits Gstaad during the summer?), and is "THE place to be. It is a special place with a special environment." Doesn't get more specific than that right? The copy on their site is totally cheesy, which amuses the hell out of me. "[The DJ] plays the most popular and up-to-date songs for our illustrious clientele. Come and feel the rh
Shark back from service
I just got my shark A13051 back from service. I'm a big fan of real sharks, saw this and had to have it. I hope you all are having a good day.
Curved end straps on small wrists
I have bought a genuine rubber (that looks like leather) with the curved ends that hug the case, to replace the worn orange croc strap on my PO. Trouble is that because my wrist is small I end up with a really unsightly gap when the strap is pulled away from the case due to my small wrist. I then tried both on my Seamaster GMT with the same result. If my wrist was 1/2 inch bigger there would be no problem.I then bought an after market rubber one, this does the same, its a real shame because they look great on straps. Is this a common problem? I have now bought a strap with straight ends as the original one was.I should have taken fotos of it!
Officially Gone off the Deep End - Another PM Incoming
Well I picked up the 118238 DD a week ago and as most of you know the hunt for the next one was already on. This happened a lot sooner than I anticipated (like years lol) but decided why the hell not I only turn 30 once. Should have it later this week but was too excited and wanted to make a thread holding a spot for the arrival. I really need to get off this forum before I go BK. I'll let you all guess before I'm able to take official pics...
All Hail TUDOR, All Hail TUDOR, All Hail TUDOR!!!
Has anyone heard the great new's? Harrods will be not only exclusively be selling but will be sponsoring Tudor's new edition Black Bay timepiece. Come on give it some big love. I'm just trying to figure out how to get one of these BAD ASS BOYS, yes, I do think these timepieces will be the cat's. It seems everyone is doing write up's, but the amount to be manufactured is still grey and not so visual. Don't forget the Pelagos. Enough said. Cudos to Tudor and their Black Bay market, Cudos to you my friends. With some prayer and good fortune I might be upon the waiting list.
