Introducing: The New Omega Speedmaster Moonphase Master Chronometer Chronograph For Baselworld 2016
The pre-Baselworld releases have started to roll in and today we bring you the upcoming new addition to the Omega Speedmaster Collection – the Speedmaster Chronograph Moonphase Master Chronometer. The watch was first announced in January and we're taking a look at it for the first time here at HODINKEE. 1 OF 2 The new 44 mm stainless-steel Speedmaster Moonphase features a blue dial with a moon-phase aperture at 6 o’clock, and is further set with 12-hour register and date sub-dials at 3 and 9 o'clock, respectively. This new Speedy also has a brand new in-house movement, the caliber 9904, which is made of 368 components and builds on the earlier 9300 series. B/W shots of my RB2 Ti
Hey, guys! Just wanted to post two of my favorite pics of my RB2. These were taken by my friend, Howard Parr, who has a great eye for photography and catching these spontaneous shots. Love these and wanted to share with the rest of the AP peeps on here Hope you guys enjoy.
Strange Seamaster Script
I have a 1969 145-018 Seamaster Chrono. which I am attaching a picture of.I have seen a few of these around over the years, but none with a configuration of the S in Seamaster like this one. Most of the ones I see have the rounded S.Does anyone know about the different shapes of the S's and the history that may be attributed to them.
Help: Date changing at 5:25am not midnight
The date on my Calatrava 3802/200 is not flipping over at midnight. Is this typical for this model's movement or not? Before I flip out and run to my local watchmaker I wanted some opinions. EDIT: I tried it manually several times and it always wants to flip the date at this time. Thanks for your time,Michael
Newbie Patek discount question. Apologies.
I feel bad asking guys but I'm considering trying an aquanaut 5167 sometime this year and I have never negotiated on Patek. I know discounts on the 5711 are impossible (and the watch itself is impossible to find in Canada) but do you think 10% is possible on an aquanaut? Lets assume I have fairly good negotiating skills . I only ask so I have some idea of my range so I do not come off as rude / miss out on any potential savings. Finally, anyone know Canadian retail price for 5167?Thanks for any infoJosh
