Certainly a rare breed, Quinting is a Swiss brand that makes all quartz movements, I mean mysterious quartz movements.The Quinting Mysterious Chronograph is really of the more complicated watches that Quinting makes. The actual name of it is pretty strange as it is called the "Quinting Chronograph Mysterious Quinting." Don't ask, I don't understand either.? The movements they produce are actually located in the bezel of the watch and involve a series of motors that turn sapphire crystal discs. The discs move the hands. A less formal look for the Speedy
For a while now I've been looking for a nice alternative to the 7912 bracelet, for a less formal look, as well as greater security on the wrist.This led me down the road of Nato's, but while I did like it on a Timefactors (20mm) black nato, I felt it needed something just a little more 'natural'. So, down the leather nato road, but all the ones I inquired about were too thick, so the watch head stood a little too high for my liking.Enter Janko straps, beautifully made, thinner leather, and the option of a wonderful vintage / distressed look. I like it so much that all my other watches are getting zero wrist time right now, the old 105.003 being my new daily wearer.I thoroughly recommend Jan if you're a bit stuck for something appropriate for your treasured Omega, or anything for that matter.
