Gavox Legacy Navy Review
It's always very exciting when a brand surprises you. Whether through the quality of a piece that belies its price or the thoughtfulness of a design, it's reassuring when a brand seems to surpass what you expect. Gavox's newest releases, the Legacy Navy line, are an example of a brand doing something quite unexpected that made me adjust what I think about them. The Gavox watches we reviewed last January were pretty straight forward quartz pilot's watches. They had a few unique twists, but ultimately used the vocabulary of modern pilot's that we are very familiar with. As is typically the case, when a brand's first watch is of a certain type, the proceeding watches are an evolution on that idea. But, with their newest watches, Gavox has taken an entirely different direction. Introducing The Bremont Boeing Model 247, A Chronograph Containing Real Aviation Technology (Live Pics & Pricing)
Few brands have modern ties to aviation as authentic as Bremont. The two founders are both pilots themselves, the company makes watches for military and stunt pilots around the world, and even the name is the result of an emergency landing executed by brothers Nick and Giles English during a flight over France. Today we'll introduce you to the collaboration as well as give you a hands-on look at the Model 247, one of two watches to launch this new collection.? 2 OF 7 Boeing has never given its name to a consumer product like this before. Sure, you could buy model Boeing airplanes and maybe a t-shirt or baseball cap, but nothing like the Bremont Boeing watches. It might have been easy to execute a simple branding exercise, but neither Bremont nor Boeing wanted to go do

Can anyone tell me the model on this?
My first Panerai arrived today...
And all I can ask myself is why I waited so long to own one. Absolutely LOVE the tobacco dial and gold hand combination. Thanks to Jizeal for making it happen!
Crown seal/gasket
Bit of a weird one - just finished winding my Black Bay and Railmaster when I notice this broken piece of rubber right where I set my watches down. Seems almost like a gasket or seal that would fit well in a crown. Not sure if I'm being paranoid but a second opinion wouldn't go amiss! Apologies for the poor photo but it's the best I could do.
