MB&F HM3 Chocolate Frog Limited Edition Watch
As part of high-end watch forum ThePuristSwatches-dealer's 10th anniversary, MB&F will offer a (more) limited edition version of their Horological Machine No. 3 "The Frog" watch called "The Chocolate Frog." MB&F is really rewarding their fans and early adopters with this move. There are a fair number of happy MB&F watch owners who are part of the "PuristS" community, who themselves have helped to support MB&F in its early stages. More and more we see the best and more innovative watch brands working closely with the online content providers and communities that strive to support them. A win/win move? I'd like to think so.The Chocolate Frog will be limited to just 10 pieces, and will be variation on the original HM3 Frog watch that I wrote about here. Funny how brown is a color that has been en vogue recently. There was once a time when a watch maker wouldn't think to ever make a brown colored watch (or one with a brown colored dial). Why? Introducing The MeisterSinger Paleograph, A One-Handed MonoPusher Chronograph (Details & Pricing)
MeisterSinger produces watches that are an exercise in restrained utility. You may be familiar with the?Singular, the brand's single hand time-only watch, and at this?year's SalonQP, MeisterSinger introduced the latest addition to its niche range of single-handed watches: the Paleograph. Harkening back to the early days of watchmaking, the Paleograph uses a single button to control the chronograph function to go with its signature single-hand time display. It wasn't until after World War I that chronograph wristwatches received a second button for zero-reset, and it is this era that the Paelograph recalls.?The watch uses the MSYN13 manual winding movement with 46-hour power reserve, a caliber based on the Unitas 6497 pocket watch movement. The goal here is to combine the zeal of modern watchmakers with the know-how and tradition of robust column wheel chronographs. 2 OF 2 MeisterSinger Paleograph Blue Dial And Movement The Paleograph comes in a stainless steel case si

Introduction... and first AP.
Figured I'd officially introduce myself and say Hi to the fellow AP owners. I recently purchased my first AP (a silver dial 15400 from Brian G aka boxerbrian) and absolutely love it. I have owned several Rolexes, probably a dozen Panerais, Omegas, Breitlings, Tudors, UNs, IWCs, GOs, etc etc - mainly hang out on the Dive Watch Connection and buy/sell/trade on there, TZ and Paneristi. I've wanted a Diver ever since they were first introduced but because I love my DSSD on Rubber B so much I decided to fill a gap in my collection and do the 15400 with my first AP. The watch has more finishing details than any other piece I've ever owned with probably a GO Sport Evo Panorama date being second. Everything about the watch screams quality and it's versatile enough for me that I can wear it in my business casual work environment or with jeans. After only a few days of ownership I'm already thinking about my next one if that tells you anything! So, on to the pics! Also, a few after of the rest of
