Hi all second doubt: I tried both roc 41 mm black and I think the new one is way more balanced in term of proportion except the date that is uglyHowever I still think the sub dials on the new one are really shouting loud than ever. Yesterday even without looking to the dial I could feel them So I think is going to make me tired about itI tried also the blue new one but somehow the dial looks to me not clear probably because the contrast is less evident than the blackWhat is your opinion? Early Christmas Present from Wife! (Omega HV)
Hey all,My wife just got me a slightly early Christmas present this weekend...it was not really a surprise since both of us walked into the store together...but she agreed to it, so that is just as good as her getting it for me!! :D I have been eyeing the Omega Hour Vision for over a year, but the admission price was just too high. I almost got it a few months ago when Bailey Banks & Biddle was in the early part of bankruptcy and was offering 20% off on the watch...but i still thought that it was too expensive for an Omega. Anyways, we went to the store again yesterday just to browse and see if there was any bargain to be had. Well, this is the end of Bailey Banks and they were offering 50% off on all their leftover high-end watches. I was thinking of picking up a Breitling or Tag for daily wear. When i passed by the Omega counter, there it was...the ONLY Omega left...the Omega Hour Vision...the same one that i have been drooling about for over a year! And it had the 50% off

Omega Speedmaster for $63,000
My NAWCC news tells me that four limited edition co-axial Omega Speedmaster Professionals, each the last in their production run celebrating the 50th anniversary of this chronograph, sold for mega buck at a charity auction in Berlin on 7/11/07.There was one white gold, one pink gold, one yellow gold, and one stainless steel watche in a production run of only 57. All four watches were the last of the run, i.e. 57/57. The white gold one went for $63,000; the pink gold and yellow gold ones went for $48,00 each, and the SS one went for $21,000.All proceeds went to charities for children.Lovely watches; worthy charities; cool auction idea!
