Casio G-Shock Baby-G Watch With Breathalyzer For Vodka Maker (Update: Fake)
UPDATE: Apparently this is not real. Casio has reached out to let me know that someone Photoshopped this fake watch, but for amusement you can read a "watch if" below. However, the same week TokyoFlash released a genuine breathalyzer watch.Because Casio didn't think that making a watch with a breathalyzer was enough, it needed to make one in collaboration with a vodka maker. Yes, it is true, the irony of the Ciroc X G-Shock watch is that the timepiece is there to prevent you from drinking too much of what Ciroc produces. For Ciroc, it is a great marketing move as it has been well established that no matter how much alcohol producers advise people to "drink responsibly" people's drinking behavior does not change. More on that shortly. On the watch front Casio lovers can expect a new tool on the G-Shock feature set with an on-board breathalyzer. Is this part of the new tool set for the world's urban Pro Trek watches? For now, the new drinking revolution begins for women as this is a Baby
Hublot King Power Usain Bolt Watch
Hublot brand ambassador and all-around nice guy Usain Bolt just got his first limited edition watch. Usain Bolt is the fastest recorded runner and is often affectionately referred to as the "fastest man in the world". Actually he is not from Africa but rather Jamaica. A little while ago (before this watch was released) I got a chance to interview him. I actually asked him some questions about what a limited edition Hublot watch for him might look like. Let's see if his answers match up to the result.[youtube youtubewatches-dealer/watch?v=ZRu4hr-Z4tA]Inherently there isn't much new here because this is your standard King Power Chronograph watch. I discuss it because I think Usain is pretty cool and it is interesting to see many of the "reasons" for Hublot limited edition watches. What is different are the little touches that make it special for Mr. Bolt. What a damn good last name for a champion runner right? I've always thought that. According to Hublot, the strap is made from "exactly
Joined the Speedy Club with a FOIS
I had my heart set on a Moonwatch for years however while researching I came across the FOIS and I did confuse me as I didn't know which one to go for...so much I did end up making a thread about it: https://.rolexforums/showthread.php?t=520144 Thank you to all those who contributed to the thread with your opinions, I tried on both many times and with the impending Omega price rise in the UK (comes into effect in 3 days from now) I had to be quick but in the end I picked up a FOIS today from the Omega shop in Regent Street, London. I am really happy with the choice and the service I received from the shop was unreal, cannot recommend them enough. In the bag alongside the watch was the normal complimentary swag but they let me take home a brand new Moonwatch Only Speedmaster guide book which after looking on the internet has an RRP of a few hundred 's. Need trade advice: Rolex for Patek
All, I'm looking to acquire a Patek Aquanaut BNIB. I can trade for it with the following watches.Daytona Ceramic plus Explorer (newer model 2016) = even tradeOr, BLNR, SUB-C date, and Explorer (newer model 2016) + 3K.I've owned an Aquanaut in the past and regret selling it so know what I'm getting. Given the options above, which trade would you do? BTW, I love all the watches I just don't want to come out of pocket on the Patek. Thanks in advance for the advice. This is a tough decision for me.
Finally Joined the Rolex Family (via Tudor)
After 15 years of watch collecting I'm the closest I've ever been to owning a Rolex, which is to say I just received my Tudor 76200 Date+Day. Big Hat Tip to Adam in Hong Kong for cluing me in that these are still being sold brand new in some Asian Markets. It's everything I never thought I could find: A brand new 40 year old Rolex. A stainless steel day date. A cyclops I can live with. All in an unassuming 36mm case. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
