Presenting the Harry Winston Midnight GMT Tourbillon For Only Watch 2011
This is one seriously mean looking Harry Winston.? Part of the brand's classical Midnight collection, this unique piece is made entirely of platinum and has a few subtle and very interesting traits.? For example, the GMT city display features Monaco, an obvious nod to the home of the Only Watch auction.? Also, the bezel features the three distinctive arches of Harry Winston's New York Salon.? The dial is made of ruthenium and the automatic movement has an impressive 110-hour power reserve, made even more impressive when you consider this watch features not only a GMT display with day/night indicator, but also a tourbillon. This one-of-a-kind Harry Winston will be auctioned off with the rest of the Only Watch lots on September 22nd, in Monaco.? More pics after the jump. 1 OF 2 2 OF 2
Hamilton Khaki X-Patrol WIll Help You Master The Metric System
Hamilton's Khaki line of watches have been popular among outdoorsmen/women looking for wallet friendly, rugged mechanical watches. Very useful watches, even if a tad uninteresting. The aviation inspired X-Patrol adds a new spin to these watches however, with the addition of conversion scales for world travelers that haven't quite nailed down units like kilometers, liters and meters. What's more, the X-Patrol has a new movement, various dial configuration options and a sub $2,000 price tag. What looks at first glance to be a gussied up Tachy bezel, is actually two rings that flank the dial, one of which rotates via the crown at 9 o'clock. On the inner ring are 4 separate data sets that can be matched up with the rotating outer bezel. Once you've got the arrows lined up you can make your conversion of miles and kilometers (statute or nautical); heights or altitudes in feet and meters; volumes in gallons and liters; and weights in pounds and kilograms. Pretty useful stuff if you're trying
Fallen in love with the Moonwatch
I have slowly fallen in love with the Moonwatch. Such a classic and price is within reach.I did recently put a order for a new Subc no date because I dont want to deal with counterfeit Rolex. It would hate me emotionally if I ever found out I bought a fake used Rolex. With the Moonwatch, used price is relatively cheap (just the basic model) compare to a Rolex. The lower the capital cost, the lower the risk, just like all investment. How do I even start? I live in Canada and often travel to Asia (Hong Kong and China mostly) for pleasure/work. I am going to guess Canada is not the place to find a good used Moonwatch. How about Hong Kong? Any recommendation on where to start? It excites me knowing I will go though the process of learning how to find the right used Moonwatch and the actually used shopping process. I often buy used electronics and vehicle, that's the only used experience I have. Sold my damn Apple Watch last week, no more toy watch :)

Haven’t posted a photo this in a while plus I wanted to see if Photobucket still works. I really enjoy this piece. I know some think it’s small but it fits my wrist perfectly don’t you think?
