SHoudl I do it?
Wanted to get some opinions from the great minds of this sub-forum. Every beginning of the year, I get the itch to buy a new piece or trade something out. I got my Rolex SD43 last week and I thought it would hold me over, but it obviously didn't since I'm starting this thread.I was thinking about trading in my RG44 for a ROC RG 26331 blue dial. The ROC picture is a random photo from the net. The 44RG photo is my actual watch.I am still awaiting the arrival of my blue dial SS Skydweller sometime in the next two months. Would another blue dial be redundant? What do you guys think? Thanks in advance.
Vintage AP- water damage resto project started
This vintage AP is was left is a safe when the house flooded many years ago and was never serviced. The dial and movement were completed rusted out. I am getting closer to getting it back together. -The band and case have been cleaned/buffed, no more patina, but the gold is now shiny.-The dial was completely rusted/molded, it was restored- it now looks new.-The glass needs some service before it can back in...-THe movement is the worst, I actually found another broken AP movement, and my jeweler will be swapping out parts from both to make one good one.A few more weeks and this watch will be back in order...
Problem with 15300
I've had the 15300 (H-series) for approximately 1 year, the watch was running and keeping time without an issue. It has been out of my watch rotation for about 2 weeks. Today I picked it up and put it on my wrist to give it some movement, which usually starts it without ease. But I recognized the watch would not run, so I started to manual wind it about 20-30 turns. Still no movement of the balance. I decided to pull the crown to time adjusting position and adjust the time. When I pushed the crown back I realized the balance started to come to life. But after a couple of seconds it went to sleep again. Guys I need your thoughts and advice on this issue.
Aqua Terra Dial Switch
Hi all, posted the same question over on WUS. I have my eye on a 38.5mm AT coaxial version and want to switch out the dial. Has anyone ever done this? Does Omega allow it? Thanks all.
