Glanced over the SIHH thread and have seen it mentioned and seen it on the AP site but does anyone have a link to the new 15400 grey ruthenium dial option?

And wanted to run my situation by those of you who know so much more!In uk - RRP = ?11,810, obviously some discount is negotiable - but in these times of austerity what one may loose on flipping a year or so (optimistic) down the road is concerning. For this reason i started looking around for the best prices on line. Ive found online a chron24, UK dealer - with great reviews - who is selling BNIB APRO 15400 with my name on papers - for ?8,000thats nearly ?4,000 lessits achieved by his relationship with a USA AD - so by means of the US RRP being lower, the exchange rate, and my dealers discount - he passes a considerable saving on to me....Q1. do i have to worry about import tax?Q2. can someone tell me the equivalent US RRP as id like to compareQ3. is warrantee all valid?i guess Q4. might be can anyone find better?and Q5. does anyone know if you can still get 15300, without going 2nd hand?finally Q6. when was the

Seamaster from 90s
My father bought this seamaster in 1990, had it on the wrist till to unwearable (see the lugs), then forgot in the basement for a long time. I know nothing about Omega, would like to know more about it, and wondering is it repairable? or worth to do so? If the repair cost won't be skyhigh, I would choose to have it restored. Thanks!

I have been told that ANY speedmaster watch has the ability to have the bands changed from link to strap or strap to link. I want to buy a nice speedmaster day/date which has a stainless link bracelet and CHANGE it to a new omega leather strap with the new deployment clasp. Can anyone confirm that this information is accurate??? thanks

Advice on my next purchase...
Morning gents, been a long time lurker on this forum and it's been extremely helpful. Have finally saved up enough pennies for my first purchase but have a slight dilemm for quite a while and was hoping if you boys could assist. Initial plan was to either get a 5980R leather strap or the AP Jumbo in full rose gold. Obviously couple of days ago, the 5711/1R became an option too and it's a beauty. Question is, which one of the 3?
