My last incoming of 2013 . .
I was able to pick up the FC Diver prior to year end! So much different than anything else I have. Extremely lightweight and comfortable. I will say it looks far better in person. My only concern is whether I'll get tired of the rubber strap because I think options are limited..

Navitimer on custom leather strap on push button clasp
I just replace my steel pilot bracelet to a custom SNRPstrap leather strap to a Breitling push button clasp. Before this I also tried a deployment clasp on calf leather but the deployment clasp hurt my wrist because of the design. The inner sleeves where the leather tucks under put pressure on my wrist and caused uncontrollable headaches everytime I wore it. I decided to fit a push button clasp and ordered custom made leather straps in whiskey color. The picture speaks for itself and the strap and clasp is so comfortable. Speedy on black or brown strap?
I prefer the black strap with the black face of the Speedy. However, you sure see a lot of brown straps and some that come with the watch.Does brown really go with black? Where are the fashion police?Which do you prefer?

Vintage Duo
Took some shots of some recently acquired vintage Omegas and thought I would share.The Constellation is circa 1966 and was a gift from my father to my uncle many years ago. My uncle is ninety now and wanted my father to have it back. It was serviced some years ago and unfortunately the crown was replaced and fitted with one that doesn't exactly match the original. Would have been nice to have the original, but it's not that big an issue.The De Ville is circa 1971 and has given to my father from a friend who has no appreciation for watches and had it sitting in a box for years.Both are working and keeping fantastic time, but will be sent in for service sometime in the near future. They were in pretty rough shape when we got them and I definitely put in some time to make them look decent. The straps are new and I've wearing the De Ville regularly for the past few weeks.
