Second AP
Flew into NYC on monday this week, and had this baby waiting for me. Wow, what an AP! I absolutely love it!

Decision (almost) made...Aquanaut Final Question: 5164A or 5167A
You guys have been great and have helped me get to where I am with my decision. My final dilemma : 5167A or 5164A I'm on the fence and like both of these very much. There's a pretty big price jump from the 5167 to the 5164 and I already have a Rolex GMT, but I like the aesthetics better of the 5164. My thought is to get the 5167, but do you think I will regret it? Or, be happy that I saved 15k and get another Patek :) ?

A few weeks ago, I asked for opinions in another string on whether to get a 5146 and maybe add a 5167 (dressy/casual combo)....or going full-bore on a 5960. The board was mixed. But after much debate, this is the path I chose!After wearing it for a few days now, I think the 5690 ultimately gives me a dress/casual option all in one. Might not swim in it but goes great with a jacket as well as jeans.Love the weight, the craftsmanship and how dial change color with different light. Could be a few millimeters thinner. But overall really happy with my decision.Thanks to those who wade-in with advise and opinions.

I did it again!
Just added this to complement my 5167a. They are very different and not redundant (mike!)First impressions: Bracelet is very comfortable - the links are smaller than Rolex, so its contours better. The second hand changes colors, from red to blue to steel. The dial changes hue at every angle. Heavier than the 5167a and bracelet makes it feel more solid.

Nearly got scammed
I posted a WTB for a Pam 161 on Paneristi and after a few days I got a hit. I waited a couple of weeks and responded. The guy had the 161. I told him I had trust issues and needed references and pictures of everything that comes with the watch. He sends a bunch of pictures that looked pretty good but none of the pictures showed everything together. It showed box and papers and then a picture of the watch on its black cushion. I asked for everything together as there were one set of pictures of the watch with bracelet on and another with the strap. I asked for pictures of the watch as it is today. He sends numerous pictures of the watch showing today's date. So I'm still not sure so I google search that watch and look through a bunch of pictures and there it is. The exact same picture that he sent me on a dealer site. That guy thought I wouldn't check and just believe him. His one reference did respond saying he was a good seller. Obviously they were together. Honestly I have never had
