Geak II Watch Stretches The Limits Of Smartwatch Battery Life
Aside from the C usually valid C complaints that many smart watches look simply like a miniature slab with a watch strap attached, there is another major drawback that the current crop of smart watches has had and that is battery life C or the lack thereof. The one exception to this has been Pebble, with the power-sipping e-ink display that it utilizes. While it does save battery life, it hardly has the flashy looks that we are expecting now from the Apple Watch and Android Wear. The Geak II looks to straddle that divide. Now, if you have not heard of the original Geak watch (since what we are looking here is in fact?the second version), you are not alone. Created by Shanda, the Geak has been pretty popular within its home country of China. With the Geak II, they are looking to stretch out into the international market, with an APAC-specific Kickstarter-type campaign over on Pozible. So, why does this particular watch matter? It is because of the promised battery life which is 3-4 days
Watch Lust: Bremont P-51
The Bremont P-51 packs a lot of punch, and we say that taking into account its over $11,000 price tag. Built with parts from an actual WWII aircraft, powered by a highly modified Valjoux 7750 and featuring some of Bremont's signature watch making technology, the P-51 is a strikingly handsome timepiece, well worth our watch lust.Limited to 251 pieces, the P-51 is assembled with materials from the infamous P-51 Mustang WWII aircraft (1944), nicknamed "Fragile but Agile" and famous for having been flown in two victorious missions during the war. But don't let the "Fragile but Agile" name fool you, the Bremont P-51 is anything but. The piece features two signature Bremont technologies to ensure more precise and durable construction. First is Trip Tick construction, which refers to a special hardening process that has been applied to the steel bezel holding into place the watch crystal, steel and crystal case back, and central body section. The second piece of Bremont tech is their Roto-Cli
Does Patek YG watch changes color over time.
Does Patek (other high end brands like Rolex) YG change color over time. The reason I ask is that I was at a PP AD the other day and I saw their new YG watch and then I saw a used one probably at least 10 years old or even way more. The use one looked... a little more rose gold like (but not outright like their rose gold, I would say in between). Now before you folks jump on my case. I had a trusted dealer admired to me once that one of his Rolex need to be lightly polish because the YG was turning red. It indicates to me that they do change color time just maybe not noticeable if you are wearing every day.
Season s Greetings
For all the members of trf PP fraction let me to wish Merry Christmas and a Prosperous 2015Good health and wealth Guys!
