I started getting into watches a few years ago and my small collection already contains a Tag Heuer Carrera Calibre 5 and an Oak and Oscar Sandford. I guess I caught the rolex bug a few months ago... So, the Rolex bug being hard to cure I pulled the trigger on a submariner today at lunch. Here's the story.At first I was unsure about which model to get, I was torn between the Submariner and the Batman. In the end I decided to go with the Submariner as I feel it fits me better and is more discreet. So during the holidays I wrote to a local AD to inquire about the availability of the no date submariner and the Batman. I got a negative response on both watches and they also told me that there is a waiting list for these models. Damn that sucks, but gotta move on...
