Tissot Heritage Navigator and Powermatic 80
Watch brands will, from time to time, revive an old design from its past line-up and update it a bit for the modern day. With Tissot turning 160 in 2013 the brand plans to do just that by releasing the Heritage Navigator, an update to the original 1953 Navigator world time watch. If you were to put the two watches side by side you would almost wonder if it was a one-to-one recreation, but not quite. The new Heritage Navigator first receives an update in size from 36mm to 43mm, quite a difference over the original but a somewhat common size today. The dial is nearly identical as Tissot only made modifications to a couple of cities to bring them to a more modern list. The hands, markers and bezel however pay homage to the original watch by sharing the same style. The idea of the design of the watch is to allow you to glance at your watch and see what time it is around the globe. This is done by first setting the watch to your home timezone where you then use the hands and the 12 hour marki

Le Blanc
This is a follow up on the excellent Le Bleu thread. It's a thread for all you white dial AP watch owners to post your favorite white shots! Surely, we cannot let the blue dial AP owners have all the fun, can we? Now, if you have chosen a white dial AP watch like me, congratulations! You have chosen most wisely, and your choice is an indication of your supreme intelligence. As we all know, white is the noblest and purest of all colors. It is the color use to represent divine goodness, and of purity, unblemished, undefiled, uncontaminated..... That's why all good things come in white. For example, Angels wear white, snow is white, the Swiss Alps are white, pigeons are white, polar bears are white, even toilet paper are mostly white....wait... what the heck am I talking????? Sorry, I got carried away. So let's see your white dial AP pics! I'll go first!
Problem with Omega 3510.50 automatic speedmaster
hi,i have an omega 3510.50 automatic speedmasterwhen you shake it or manual wind the watch, everything runs properlybut sometimes the minute and the hour hand stop and the second keeps runing,so the second is running but the two other hands don't move any more ...can you help me?
I can't go back. Can you?
This is an observation, not a knock. I have been wearing Panerai for about 3-4years. First the 88, now the 422. Before that, Rolex only for a long time. Mostly sport models in SS. Long story short, the Rolex I miss the most and still admire greatly is the GMTIIC in SS. Mine kept crazy accurate time and I think it's the most striking and beautiful piece in the current Rolex SS line-up. A real gem.I have been wrestling with re-acquiring the GMTIIC. I visited my local AD yesterday, took off my 422 and tried it on. It is still beautiful, the craftsmanship remains world class, the bezel shines and the hint of green is perfect. But, it looked soooo small. I could not believe it. I'm 6' tall with nearly an 8 wrist. I had never before felt that a Rolex looked small on me but this damn thing looked puny. I left the AD feeling kind of down like one who left home never to return. Again, not a knock nor a commentary on craftsmanship, value, trendiness, etc., and I remain one who loves and respect
