Extra-flat Ballon Bleu de Cartier
Ultra-thin watches were one of the more noticeable trends at SIHH this year. Cartier’s new creation in this category is the Extra-flat Ballon Bleu de Cartier. This distinctive timepiece retains Cartier’s signature design elements, and at 46mm, it is a powerful presence on the wrist, despite its diminutive profile. Find pricing and wallpaper images inside. The Extra-flat Ballon Bleu de Cartier is available in pink gold, white gold, and platinum. The gold versions have silver guilloch dials, while the dial on the platinum version is deep blue. All versions have a blue cabochon crown, and water resistance is 30 meters. All three versions are available in numbered limited series. As we go to press, only approximate U.S. pricing is available: pink gold $20,300, white gold $21,800, platinum $32,550.The images below may be enlarged substantially with a click.Extra-flat Ballon Bleu de Cartier watch Case: 18 carat pink or white gold; 950/1000 platinumDiameter: 46 mmCrown: fluted and

Vintage speedmaster opinion
Hi all,I am new to the Omega subforum and am thus not sure how much of you guys are into vintage Omegas. I have done some (very) basic reading and am still very much a newbie in this area, and thus would like to seek your advice on the watch in this listing.heirloom2/chronograph...nd_GENERATION_I am interested in the cal 321, 2998-6 speedmaster.Could I thus seek your opinions on the piece (pictures are on the site) with regards to parts authenticity, condition and your estimated fair value? The seller is a reputable local one, but I'm still trying to cover my bases and not overpay too much, or pull the trigger on a below-average piece..Thanks all, appreciate it!
Seamaster Aqua Terra in 18k - all I can say is wow!!!
Today I had a chance to visit the Omega store that opened a couple of weeks ago in Tyson's Corner (McLean, VA). Great selection of watches with very helpful and kind sales associates. For the first time ever I had a chance to try on and inspect the 18K Aqua Terra with the grey dial. What a watch! Very elegant and classy, simple and to-the-point interface, great legibility and it doesn't scream as loud as a 18K Rolex GMT or Submariner. I was very impressed. Only one slight problem, MSRP is $30,200 and the Omega stores don't like to discount. I mean, if you pick up a 18K GMT for around $20,000 at least you know you'll more or less get your money back, I would be worried about that with the Omega.Regardless, if you ever have a chance to try one on, don't hesitate!
First Patek: 5146g slate or 5711 blue
Okay what would you guys do?I have a seadweller which is my every day, every activity watch with lots of sentimental value. I'm contemplating a sportier Patek at this time. I would like to wear it daily at work. I'm a casual dressing, frequent hand washing pediatrician. I have the seadweller for activities. So would you go with the 5711 or the 5146g slate dial to fill the role as the starter sportier Patek? And why?I would like to have this watch the rest of my life and only can afford one.Thanks.
