This was before a "mere tourbillon" was not enough, and when the complication was gaining steam as the haute mechanical wonder to wear. At this time most consumers still had no idea what the odd, but cool looking complication was. Later most consumers finally learned that the complication was in fact cool to look at, but of questionable value from utilitarian perspective. First time Rolex buyer and buying overseas. Please help!!
Hello everyone. Currently in London and looking to buy the 36 oyster per pep. It is 3900 pounds but I can claim back the VAT which will lower to 3300 which saves me close to a thousand dollars. My question is what am on the hook for once I get back to the us as far as customs? Is it worth it? Do I roll the dice and not declare? I'm sure this question has been asked a million times.
