TAG Heuer to Increase Movement-Manufacturing at New Site in Jura
TAG Heuer has announced that it is doubling its mechanical-chronograph movement manufacturing capacity by building a new site in Chevenez, in the Swiss Canton of Jura, which will create 100 jobs and be operational by the end of 2013. The site will produce the in-house Caliber 1887 mechanical chronograph that was launched two years ago, plus a brand-new caliber that TAG Heuer is developing. Currently, all of TAG Heuer’s in-house movements are made by the company at its facility in La Chaux-de-Fonds and at Cortech in Cornol. TAG Heuer also buys Swiss mechanical movements from Sellita, ETA, Dubois-Depraz, Soprod and Zenith. The company cited the reduction in supply announced by ETA �� supported by the Swiss Competition Committee COMCO, through its provisional measures �� and the additional volumes needed to meet its growth targets as reasons for manufacturing more mechanical movements in-house. RSW Diving Tool Camo Limited Edition Watch
I have no idea what manner of space robot warrior fighter is supposed to wear a watch like this. Now as a limited edition model with two camouflage dial options, the RSW Diving Tool watch gets even more distinct. I originally wrote about the RSW Diving Tool watch here when it first came out.A bit larger than the Bell & Ross BR01, this piece takes the military square style watch a few steps further and offers something that would seem pretty suitable as a prop in Avatar. The steel case is 46.2mm wide (16.45mm thick) and offered in a brushed finish or in PVD black. Movement/Winding Questions
Hi all, I have a couple of perhaps naive questions, not really specific to any particular brand or watch, but the context is my AP RO 15400:1. Does the accuracy of a watch depend on how wound up it is? I've been assuming that a (good quality) watch will, when running at all, keep consistent time. But is it instead the case that being fully wound makes it more accurate than if, for example, it is hardly wound at all?2. Can wearing the watch top up the winding? If for example I wound my 15400 only 20 turns from it being stopped (I never would, but for the sake of a simple example!), but then wore it for several days, would it get topped up to fully wound, or just maintain that initial level? I have a reasonably active life style (plenty of fast walking for instance).

Speedmaster pro vs 57??? Which to get first?
Having a real tough time choosing here...love them both, want them both, can only get one at this time, the other will have to wait. Leaning towards the Speedy pro, (sandwich, love to see the movement) but the 57 is so freaking cool!!! What do you all suggest? Thanks!
